The foreign exchange industry is one of the most competitive sectors in global finance. Thousands of brokers compete for the attention of traders, yet only a small number reach the point where technology, client growth, transactional scale, and international expansion begin to reinforce one another. In less than three years, Tag Markets has moved into that conversation.

Founded in 2023, the company was created around a straightforward observation. The forex industry had continued to expand, but much of the technology surrounding the client experience had not evolved at the same pace. Account opening could feel fragmented, copy trading could be difficult to navigate, and partner systems often lacked the speed and visibility expected from modern financial platforms.

That gap became the foundation for the brokerage. Rather than competing only through trading conditions, the company began building an ecosystem designed to make the path from registration to participation easier for clients and partners. Today, the business serves an international customer base, and has set its sights on becoming the largest forex and CFD brokerage in the world.

The scale already achieved gives that ambition weight. Tag Markets says it has surpassed one million clients and recorded more than $820 billion in transactional volume. Reaching those figures within a relatively short period points to a business that has found demand across multiple markets and built systems capable of supporting rapid international growth.

One of the clearest examples is CopyX, the company’s proprietary copy trading platform. Clients can create an account, deposit funds, review available trading strategies, and connect their account to a trader they choose to follow. Those who prefer to manage their own positions can trade independently. Both options sit within the same brokerage environment, allowing clients to choose how directly they want to participate in the market.

The company has also developed its own IB portal for introducing brokers and partners. In many international markets, these relationships play an important role in how traders learn about products, understand platforms, and choose a brokerage. The portal gives partners access to onboarding, reporting, account activity, and client management tools, helping them operate with greater clarity as their networks expand.

The timing of that investment reflects a wider shift in the industry. Retail traders increasingly expect brokerage platforms to offer the same speed, simplicity, and visibility they experience through digital banking and payment applications. They want faster account activation, accessible information, responsive support, and technology that allows them to understand what is happening inside their account without unnecessary friction.

Tag Markets has positioned itself around those expectations. Its growth has not been built around a single launch. The company obtained its Mauritius licence in 2024, introduced CopyX in September 2025, launched its IB portal the following month, and secured a South African regulated licence in 2026. In May 2026, the business reached the milestone of one million clients.

Viewed together, those milestones tell a broader story. Regulation created the foundation for expansion. Technology improved the experience for clients and partners. Client growth then gave the company the scale to compete in markets traditionally dominated by longer established brokers.

The company’s founder has been direct about the destination. His goal is to build Tag Markets into the largest forex and CFD brokerage in the world. The strategy behind that objective is centred on continued technology development, easier access, stronger transparency, and products designed around how modern traders want to use a brokerage.

That includes account structures intended to give clients greater flexibility, copy trading technology designed to make following strategies more accessible, and partner infrastructure capable of supporting international growth. The common thread is not complexity. It is the removal of barriers that have made forex brokerages feel more difficult than it needs to be.

Size in financial services is ultimately reflected in more than a headline number. It appears in the number of people using the platform, the volume moving through it, the markets entered, the systems developed, and the confidence of partners willing to build alongside the business. By those measures, Tag Markets has already established a substantial global footprint.

The company’s next chapter will be defined by how far that footprint can extend. With more than one million clients, over $820 billion in transactional volume, proprietary technology, an expanding regulatory presence, and a clear global objective, Tag Markets is no longer introducing itself to the forex industry. It is building the infrastructure required to compete at the very top of it.
