A physician and healthcare product strategist brings clinical insight, operational discipline, and a cross-market perspective to the systems behind care.

Dr. Arpita Goyal brings a cross-border perspective to digital health and healthcare transformation. Building on her clinical training, she brings together product strategy, AI, and global healthcare insight to examine how fragmented data, technology gaps, clinician burnout, and coordination failures affect both individual care and the systems that support it.

Today, Goyal applies this cross-disciplinary perspective to digital health, AI, payer workflows, and care-delivery challenges across the United States and India. Her clinical background grounds her in the challenges patients and providers face; her product and consulting work addresses inefficiencies in clinical care, care coordination, reimbursement and operational workflows, and the adoption of emerging medical technologies and therapies.

The Inspiration Behind the Work

During clinical training, Goyal saw how fragmented information, disconnected systems, technology gaps, and documentation burdens could stand between a sound care plan and its timely execution. Those experiences pushed her to study how better processes, product design, and responsible AI could improve outcomes at scale.

That interest led her into product and consulting roles and eventually informed Nivira Health, her healthcare advisory platform. In the DigiHeal Newsletter, she explores AI, digital health, global healthcare trends, and emerging care-delivery models, discussing markets and opportunities, spotlighting innovative solutions, and partnering with founders.

Learning to Operate in Ambiguity

One of the biggest challenges Goyal faced was moving from the structure of clinical medicine into fast-moving product environments, where teams often define problems while solving them. She also had to establish credibility with engineers, data scientists, business stakeholders, and operational leaders.

“Moving from a structured clinical environment to fast-paced, evolving product roles meant I had to quickly learn how to operate without clear answers, define problems myself, and make decisions with incomplete information.”

A Cross-Border Perspective

Goyal’s cross-sector perspective is reflected in meaningful contributions to the broader global healthcare ecosystem. Across these settings, she returns to a consistent idea: healthcare innovation may be most effective when it aligns with the needs of the people who use it.

Her approach is analytical but applied, focused on what can hold up in real clinical and business settings. That combination has made Goyal a recognized voice in digital health—one attentive to both the human side of care and the operational systems that determine whether good ideas reach patients.
